This isn't the polished, melody-driven beast that Mithotyn would later become. No, this is something colder, harsher, and more primal. The album feels like a frozen landscape come to life — all distorted riffs, raw growls, and atmospheric keyboards weaving tales of Norse mythology and ancient forests. About half the tracks were carried over from earlier demos like "Nidhogg" and "Promo 96", giving the whole record an authentic, underground feel that's impossible to fake. Instrumental gems like "Lost in the Mist" and "Let Thy Ale Swing" capture the band's strongest Viking atmosphere, mixing folk-tinged melodies with blackened aggression. It's a cold, hard take on the genre that still hits like a frostbitten fist.
