Background information about 'An Undying Love For A Burning World'
Evolution can be both ugly and beautiful, painful and euphoric. "An Undying Love For A Burning World" marks Neurosis' first release in a decade, and what a triumphant return it is. This colossal statement of intent showcases a band reborn, taking their first new steps with unwavering determination and resilience that only comes from surviving the storms of time.
The album delivers epic hypnotism that's simultaneously beautiful, terrifying, and utterly captivating in ways only Neurosis can achieve. With Aaron Turner (Sumac, Isis) lending his vocals and guitar prowess, whose legacy is deeply intertwined with the band's own journey, this feels like a true spiritual homecoming. Recorded by Scott Evans (Kowloon Walled City, Sumac, Great Falls) at Studio Litho in Seattle, every crushing note and atmospheric passage has been captured with pristine clarity that serves the band's apocalyptic vision.
