PENTAGRAM · First Daze Here | 2CD

Vinyl shaped bonus CD with two tracks once released under the name Macabre with the 7" original mix.

Background information about 'First Daze Here'

Pentagram unleashed something truly monumental with "First Daze Here" – a devastating collection that captures the raw essence of doom metal's founding fathers. This double-disc compilation serves as the ultimate gateway into the band's legendary catalog, showcasing tracks that would define an entire genre. From the crushing weight of "Forever My Queen" to the hypnotic groove of "Lazy Lady", every song here demonstrates why Pentagram remains untouchable in the realm of heavy music. Bobby Liebling's haunting vocals float over Tony Iommi-inspired riffs that move like molten lava, creating an atmosphere so thick you could cut it with a knife.

The second disc adds incredible historical value with the Macabre tracks – the band's original incarnation that planted the seeds for what would become doom metal royalty. "Be Forewarned" and "Lazy Lady" in their original 7" mix showcase the band's evolution while maintaining that primal heaviness that made them legends. This isn't just a compilation; it's a masterclass in how to craft songs that resonate through decades, influencing countless bands while never losing their original power.
