The Great Sea embarks on a sonic expedition with their debut album "Noble Art of Desolation," weaving an intricate tapestry of sound that echoes the primordial origins of humanity itself. Amidst a world increasingly engulfed by modernity, this project strives to rekindle the forgotten essence of mankind's ancient roots. The album traverses through sonic landscapes marked by both powerful aggression and poignant nostalgia, avoiding the pitfalls of redundancy. Its ethereal melodies meander through a backdrop painted in frost, fallen leaves, and restless waves, offering glimpses into a realm where time stands still.

Founded in 2022 by JR from Long Distance Calling and SH from Ordeal & Plight, the band aims to conjure an atmosphere befitting the majesty of mountains and oceans' unfathomable depths. Guitarist SH articulates their vision: "We always wanted to create a feeling where you can experience nature and find yourself within it." The album also features contributions from Phil Jonas (Crone, ex-Secrets Of The Moon) and Azathoth (Gràb, ex-Dark Fortress). Their collaborative efforts infuse each track with enigmatic energies that seamlessly bind earthly elements with otherworldly realms.
