Background information about 'I'm Going To Kill Myself'
This crushing opus from Black Sheep Wall delivers an absolutely devastating journey through the darkest corners of doom metal. "I'm Going To Kill Myself" stands as a monument to emotional heaviness, where each track builds upon layers of suffocating despair and crushing weight. The album's four compositions stretch across over an hour of pure sonic devastation, with the epic closer "Metallica" alone clocking in at over 33 minutes of relentless, hypnotic brutality that will leave listeners completely drained yet oddly satisfied.
The band's approach here is methodical and unforgiving - they understand that true doom isn't just about slow tempos, but about creating an atmosphere so thick you could cut it with a knife. Tracks like "The Wailing And The Gnashing And The Teeth" and "Tetsuo The Dead Man" showcase their ability to craft songs that feel like emotional purges, while "White Pig" maintains that crushing momentum before the album culminates in its massive final statement. This is doom metal at its most cathartic and uncompromising.
