Background information about 'Religion Of Spiritual Violence'
From the frozen wastelands of Murmansk comes a devastating blast of pure black metal fury that will freeze your blood and ignite your soul. Old Wainds deliver their sophomore assault "Religion Of Spiritual Violence" with the kind of barbaric intensity that only emerges from the most inhospitable corners of our planet. This is black metal stripped to its essential core – no frills, no compromise, just raw spiritual warfare channeled through tremolo-picked guitars and blast-beaten drums that hit like Arctic winds.
Originally unleashed in 2002, this remastered edition showcases the band's evolution from their primitive beginnings into something more refined yet equally devastating. The Cyrillic lyrics add an extra layer of mystique to these hymns of darkness, while the improved production allows every frozen riff to cut through like shattered ice. Remastered by Jack Control and Maor Appelbaum at Enormous Door, this vinyl edition presents the album with crystal-clear brutality that honors both its primitive origins and its timeless power.
