Background information about 'Time Travelling Blues (Re-Release)'
What a ride! Orange Goblin's "Time Travelling Blues" stands as one of those rare gems that perfectly captures a band hitting their creative stride. Following hot on the heels of their breakthrough "Frequencies", this album showcases the London stoner rock titans at their most focused and ferocious. The songwriting here is absolutely next level – every track feels essential, from the crushing opener "Blue Snow" to the epic title track that closes the journey.
This remastered edition really makes these songs shine like never before. The bonus tracks are pure gold too, including a killer live BBC session and their crushing take on Black Sabbath's "Hand Of Doom". Ben Ward's vocals have never sounded more commanding, while the rhythm section of Martyn Millard and Chris Turner provides that thunderous backbone that makes you want to move mountains. The guitar work is simply sublime – heavy as hell but with melodies that stick in your head for days.
