Background information about 'Manifest Decimation'
Man, what a crushing debut this is! Power Trip absolutely demolished the competition with "Manifest Decimation", drawing from the sacred texts of crossover legends like Cro-Mags, Vio-lence, Leeway, Exodus, and Nuclear Assault. These Texas savages don't just emulate - they properly channel that old-school energy and add their own brand of modern thrash warfare that'll leave you breathless. The production work by Arthur Rizk (who's worked with War Hungry, Mother of Mercy, and Inquisition) is absolutely face-peeling and ensures maximum head-banging from start to finish.
This isn't your typical throwback album that feels forced or nostalgic - Power Trip brings genuine fire and conviction to every single track. From the title track "Manifest Decimation" to the crushing finale "The Hammer Of Doubt", this record showcases a band that understands what made classic crossover so powerful while pushing it into contemporary territory. The riffs are razor-sharp, the vocals are venomous, and the rhythm section pounds with the fury of a thousand mosh pits. It's the kind of album that reminds you why heavy music matters.
For fans of: Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust, Iron Reagan, Suicidal Tendencies, and D.R.I.
