Revocation returns with their most thought-provoking and brutal offering yet on "New Gods, New Masters", their fifth album for Metal Blade Records. The Boston-based extreme metal quartet, led by the visionary Dave Davidson, delivers nine crushing tracks that blend their signature technical prowess with urgent social commentary about artificial intelligence and humanity's relationship with technology. Produced by Davidson himself and mixed/mastered by the legendary Jens Bogren (The Haunted, Spiritbox), the album features standout collaborations including "Cronenberged" with Jonny Davy of Job for a Cowboy, "Confines of Infinity" featuring Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation, and "Buried Epoch" with Luc Lemay of Gorguts.

The album's title reflects Davidson's philosophical exploration of humanity's eternal need to worship, suggesting we've simply replaced traditional deities with technology and innovation.
