CD in digisleeve.

Background information about 'Rats In The Temple'

Flotsam and Jetsam are back with a vengeance on "Rats In The Temple", and let me tell you, these thrash veterans have not lost a single step. This is the kind of record that grabs you by the throat from the very first riff and doesn't let go until the final chord rings out. The band has always had a knack for blending razor-sharp thrash aggression with memorable, almost anthemic hooks, and this album is no exception. Tracks like "Harvesting the Hate" and "Damnation" hit with the force of a sledgehammer, while "Blame the Knife" and "The Ghost behind my Door" show a more dynamic, groove-laden side that keeps things interesting across the entire runtime.

What really stands out here is the sheer energy and tightness of the performances. The rhythm section is locked in like a machine, the guitar work is ferocious yet precise, and the vocal delivery is as commanding as ever. This is classic thrash metal in the best possible way — unapologetic, aggressive, and utterly infectious. With thirteen tracks of pure metallic fury, "Rats In The Temple" proves that these Arizona legends still have plenty of fire burning. Whether you have been following them since the eighties or are just discovering their catalog, this record demands your attention and rewards repeated spins with layers of riffage and attitude that refuse to fade.
