Background information about 'The Morning After'
Tankard is a band synonymous with the exhilarating thrash metal scene of the 1980s. With their third studio album, "The Morning After", they continued to solidify their reputation as purveyors of intoxicatingly energetic riffs and tongue-in-cheek lyricism. This album serves as a testament to their ability to blend humor with headbang-worthy music seamlessly.
The record opens with high-octane tracks that transport listeners into a world of relentless thrashing and storytelling that only Tankard can deliver. Tracks like "Commandments" and "Shit-Faced" stand out for their complex guitar work intertwined with playful yet aggressive vocals.
