Italian symphonic power metallers Temperance shake things up on their seventh studio album, Arcani, out October 16, 2026 via Napalm Records. Built around the ancient divinatory practice of Tarot, every single track on this record follows a different card of the Major Arcana deck. The result is 13 spellbinding songs packed with even catchier symphonic melodies than anything the band has done before, and it feels like the brightest chapter of their career yet.

The opener "The Fool" holds a special place, much like its Tarot counterpart that stands outside the numbered cards. From there, the quintet takes you on a wild ride: "The Magician: Into the Fire" blazes with male-led vocals, "Death: Right Before We Die" pulls at the heartstrings with deeply personal lyrics drawn from the band members' own experiences, and "The Tower: Lean Into Fear" ventures into hard rock territory — a completely new facet for Temperance that showcases Kristin Starkey's roaring versatility.
