Background information about 'Väre'
On their sophomore album, Tenhi transcend the auditory boundaries established in their debut, "Kauan," by embracing a broader sonic palette that evokes the haunting beauty of Finland's landscapes. "Väre", with its seamless fusion of atmospheric rock and shamanistic soundscapes, invites listeners to journey through ethereal realms where time stands still and nature whispers its ancient secrets. Each track is a poignant vignette that paints vivid images of untouched wilderness and introspective solitude.
While retaining the minimalist elegance that defined their initial offerings, Tenhi explores deeper emotional currents in "Väre." The album's intricate compositions are interwoven with haunting melodies and rich textures, creating a tapestry of sound that is both expansive and intimate. It is an invitation to lose oneself in the melancholic beauty of distant forests and the serene quietude of snow-covered expanses.
