When the opening track The Omen kicks in, you know immediately — this isn't some polite, well-mannered metal record. This is a fist to the face. Terrörhammer come roaring out of the gate with In the Name of Hell, a five-track slab of pure, unadulterated thrash metal fury that sounds like it was recorded in a basement drenched in sweat and cheap beer — and I mean that as the highest compliment.

What these maniacs deliver here is the kind of primal, speed-obsessed blackened thrash that takes you right back to the glory days of the mid-80s, when bands like Sodom, Destruction, and early Kreator were laying waste to everything in their path. Riding on a Devil's Storm is an absolute ripper — relentless drumming, buzzsaw guitars, and vocals that sound like they're being spat through a mouthful of broken glass. There's no clean production sheen here, no Pro-Tools perfection. Just raw, nasty, hellbound energy that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go.

The title says it all, really. Hell Metal isn't just a track — it's a manifesto. Terrörhammer worship at the altar of speed and aggression, and every single riff on this EP feels like it was forged in fire and brimstone. Black Terror closes things out with a vicious, galloping assault that leaves you wanting to flip the thing over and start again immediately. At just five tracks, In the Name of Hell is lean, mean, and completely devoid of filler — the way thrash EPs used to be made. If you've been craving something that recaptures that dangerous, underground spirit of first-wave black metal colliding head-on with unhinged Teutonic thrash, this is essential listening.
