Background information about 'Only The Strong'
What a thunderous comeback! Thor unleashes pure Canadian metal fury with "Only The Strong", an album that stands as one of the most triumphant chapters in Jon Mikl Thor's legendary career. This powerhouse collection showcases why the former Mr. World bodybuilder turned metal god conquered Britain in the mid-80s with such devastating effect. From the apocalyptic opener "2045" to the anthemic title track "Only The Strong", every single cut delivers maximum impact.
The album's crown jewels "Thunder On The Tundra" and "Let The Blood Run Red" didn't just storm the UK charts by accident – they're absolutely explosive metal anthems that combine Thor's commanding vocals with razor-sharp riffing and thunderous rhythms. Tracks like "When Gods Collide" and "Now Comes The Storm" showcase the band's ability to craft both crushing heavy numbers and memorable hooks that'll have you singing along instantly. This is muscle-bound metal at its absolute finest!
