New edition CD in jewelcase with 8 pages booklet.

Background information about 'Incantation Rites'

The UK/German doom metal powerhouse Thronehammer returns with their sophomore full-length "Incantation Rites", a crushing testament to their evolution as one of the most formidable forces in contemporary extreme metal. This isn't just another doom album - it's a masterclass in sonic brutality that showcases the band's ability to seamlessly blend crushing heaviness with epic storytelling. The seven tracks presented here represent Thronehammer's most ambitious work to date, each composition carefully crafted to deliver maximum impact while maintaining the mysterious atmosphere that has become their signature.

"Incantation Rites" takes listeners on an unforgiving journey through vast sonic landscapes that shift from glacially slow doom passages to surprisingly dynamic tempo changes. The album's strength lies in its unpredictability - just when you think you've settled into a hypnotic doom groove, Thronehammer throws in an uptempo section that hits like a sledgehammer to the skull. From the title track's ominous opening to the epic finale "Of Mountaintops And Glacial Tombs", every moment feels deliberate and devastating. The production perfectly captures the band's earth-shaking heaviness while allowing the intricate details to shine through.
