What a crushing return to form! Winter's "Eternal Frost" stands as one of the most devastating doom/death metal statements ever committed to wax. This legendary 1994 EP showcases the New York quartet at their absolute peak, delivering five tracks of bone-chilling, glacial heaviness that redefined what extreme music could be.

The opening assault of "Servants Of The Warsmen" immediately establishes the band's suffocating atmosphere, while the title track "Eternal Frost" becomes a masterclass in controlled brutality. Winter understood that true heaviness comes not from speed, but from the crushing weight of perfectly executed doom passages. The production, originally captured at Speed Of Sound Studio and now expertly remastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano at Orgone Studios, brings new clarity to these monolithic compositions without sacrificing their raw, primordial power.
