Background information about 'Kin'
After years of anticipation, Xentrix delivers a thunderous comeback with "Kin" – their first full-length studio effort in decades that proves the British thrash legends haven't lost an ounce of their devastating power. This is thrash metal at its most refined yet brutal, where razor-sharp riffs collide with pummeling rhythms to create an absolute masterclass in extreme metal craftsmanship. From the opening chaos of "The Order of Chaos" to the crushing finale, every track showcases the band's evolution while staying true to their uncompromising roots.
The album's production strikes that perfect balance between modern clarity and old-school grit, allowing each instrument to breathe while maintaining the wall of sound that made Xentrix household names in the thrash underground. Tracks like "All Bleed Red" and "No More Time" demonstrate their knack for writing hooks that stick in your head for days, while deeper cuts like "See Through You" reveal layers of complexity that reward repeated listens. The inclusion of three demo tracks adds serious value for longtime fans, offering glimpses into the creative process behind this triumphant return.
