Background information about 'Classics'

What happens when German thrash metal virtuosity meets the greatest classical compositions ever written? Mekong Delta delivers the answer with "Classics" – a breathtaking journey through the most beloved pieces of classical music, transformed into crushing metal anthems that will leave you absolutely stunned. This isn't just another metal covers album; it's a complete reimagining of timeless masterpieces through the lens of progressive thrash genius.

From Mussorgsky's haunting "Night On A Bare Mountain" to Khachaturian's explosive "Sabre Dance", Mekong Delta proves once again why they're considered pioneers in the classical-metal fusion realm. The band's technical prowess shines brightest on tracks like "Toccata" and "Allegro", where complex classical arrangements meet face-melting guitar work and thunderous rhythms. The remastered sound quality brings every intricate detail to life, making this compilation an essential addition to any metal collection.
