From the shadows of Belgium's underground emerges Archaic Oath, a project born from the ancient hunger of seasoned metal veterans Lykormas and Arneriach. These two warriors, known for their work with Marche Funèbre and Hemelbestormer, have forged a covenant to resurrect the primal essence of blackened death metal. "Determined to Death and Beyond" stands as their first testament, a brutal homage to the glory days when bands like Naglfar, Dissection, and Unanimated ruled the underground with iron fists and razor-sharp melodies.

This debut offering pulses with the lifeblood of '90s melodic black metal, tempered by decades of experience and an unwavering devotion to the craft. The album was hewn during the bitter winter of 2024-2025, each track a carefully constructed ritual that channels the darkest impulses of the genre. The production maintains that raw, organic feel that made the original wave so compelling, while the songwriting demonstrates a maturity that only comes from years spent wandering the metal underground.
