Background information about 'Nug So Vile'
Cannabis Corpse delivers another crushing blow to the death metal underground with "Nug So Vile", a twisted homage that transforms weed culture into pure sonic devastation. This isn't just another parody album – it's a legitimate death metal crusher that happens to be obsessed with cannabis instead of corpses. The Richmond quintet has perfected their formula of technical brutality wrapped in marijuana-themed madness, creating something that's both hilariously clever and genuinely punishing.
The album showcases the band's evolution from novelty act to serious contenders in the death metal scene. Each track is a masterclass in crushing riffs, lightning-fast drumwork, and guttural vocals that would make any Cannibal Corpse fan nod in approval. The inclusion of bonus track "From Enslavement to Hydrobliteration" adds extra value to this already potent package, proving that Cannabis Corpse knows how to deliver both quantity and quality in their psychoactive assault.
