CONCRETE COLD emerged during the Corona era as a brutal bastard of death, doom, and sludge metal. Initiated by Daniel Jakobi (ex-Lay Down Rotten, Milking the Goatmachine) and completed by longtime partners Johannes Pitz and Jost Kleinert plus Dennis Barmbold and Philipp Becker, the band created a formation of experienced yet hungry musicians.

After just one year of intensive songwriting, CONCRETE COLD recorded their debut at Fatknob Studios under Fernando Hermansa's proven direction. The resulting album "The Strains Of Battle" is a merciless fusion of death metal aggression and doom-laden monumentality. Supreme Chaos Records recognized the potential early and secured the release. "The Strains Of Battle" represents uncompromising sludgy death'n'doom battles – a monument of heaviness born from times of societal upheaval.
