Background information about 'Dusk And Her Embrace (The Original Sin)'
Cradle Of Filth's "Dusk And Her Embrace (The Original Sin)" stands as a monumental reissue that unearths the band's raw gothic prowess. Initially thwarted by legal troubles and band member reshuffles in the mid-90s, this album was shelved until its formal release decades later. The record captures the quintessence of their early sound—darkly majestic and unabashedly theatrical—embodying a time capsule of creative tension and innovation.
This version showcases remastered tracks courtesy of Patrick W. Engel at Temple Of Disharmony, bringing newfound clarity without sacrificing the original's haunting atmosphere. Accompanied by new liner notes from Olivier 'Zoltar' Badin and wrapped in exquisite artwork with additional collectibles such as a double-sided poster and a download card, it is an essential piece for collectors and newcomers alike.
