Background information about 'The Hollowing Of Godflesh'
Crown Magnetar have never been ones to play it safe, and with "The Hollowing of Godflesh", they've delivered their most devastating and refined statement to date. This isn't just another death metal album — it's a surgical strike of modern brutality that sharpens every edge the band has honed over the years. The arrival of new guitarist Rob Maramonte (ex-Fallujah, The Zenith Passage, live stints with Thy Art Is Murder and All Shall Perish) injects a fresh, dizzying level of technical firepower into the mix. His riffs are absolutely unhinged, weaving through the chaos with a precision that borders on the supernatural.
What makes "The Hollowing of Godflesh" truly stand out is how the band balances sheer, unrelenting aggression with moments of atmospheric depth. They haven't sacrificed an ounce of their signature intensity — if anything, they've cranked it up. But there's a newfound sense of space here, a willingness to let the tension breathe before crushing it with some of the heaviest breakdowns you'll hear this year. The production is massive, every blast beat and guttural vocal landing like a hammer blow. This is death metal that demands your full attention. Crown Magnetar aren't just following trends — they're carving their own path through the wreckage.
