Background information about 'The Hollowing Of Godflesh'
Crown Magnetar have never been ones to play it safe, and with "The Hollowing of Godflesh", they've crafted their most definitive statement to date. This is death metal that doesn't just hit hard — it evolves. The band pushed every aspect of their songwriting forward without sacrificing the raw, punishing intensity that defines them. What you get is a record that breathes atmosphere, builds towering moments, and still delivers the kind of relentless aggression that leaves you wrecked.
New guitarist Rob Maramonte — whose pedigree includes Fallujah, The Zenith Passage, and live stints with Thy Art Is Murder and All Shall Perish — brings a chaotic, riff-driven energy that elevates the entire album. "The Hollowing of Godflesh" is a razor-sharp evolution of Crown Magnetar's sound, a brutal, polished beast that will satisfy longtime fans and absolutely flatten newcomers. This is death metal sharpened to a fine edge.
