Background information about 'And Then You'll Beg'
Cryptopsy returns with the deluxe vinyl reissue of their devastating 2000 masterpiece "And Then You'll Beg", and what a ferocious comeback this is! Originally released through Century Media, this album caught the Canadian death metal legends at a pivotal moment, showcasing their unrelenting technical prowess and bone-crushing intensity that made them pioneers of the extreme metal scene.
This repress captures every nuance of Cryptopsy's signature brutality - from the lightning-fast blast beats to the intricate guitar work that weaves through tracks like "We Bleed" and "Voice Of Unreason". The production maintains that raw, uncompromising edge that made the original so compelling, while the remastering brings out details that will make even longtime fans discover new layers of complexity. Tracks like "My Prodigal Son" demonstrate the band's ability to blend technical death metal with moments of haunting atmosphere, proving why Cryptopsy remains essential listening for extreme metal devotees.
