Background information about 'Feed My Absurdity'
Dawn of Demise have been flattening skulls in the death metal underground for years now, and "Feed My Absurdity" feels like the moment everything clicks into brutal, blood-soaked focus. This is death metal that doesn't just want to hurt you, it wants to drag you down into the muck and make you enjoy it. The riffs are thick, churning things that hit like a sledgehammer to the sternum, and the rhythm section is so locked-in it sounds like a machine built specifically to pulverize. There's a relentless, almost suffocating weight to these songs, but what sets Dawn of Demise apart is how much groove they manage to bury inside all that chaos. You don't just headbang to this record, you get physically pulled into it.
What really gets me about "Feed My Absurdity" is the sheer confidence on display. The band sound completely in command of their craft, layering blastbeats with slower, groove-laden passages that let the whole thing breathe before they slam the door shut again. The vocals are a guttural, commanding force, cutting through the mix with real presence. Production-wise, everything is sharp and punishing without ever feeling sterile, which is a tough balance to strike in this genre. This is the sound of a veteran band operating at full power, and it demands to be played loud. If you've been sleeping on Dawn of Demise, consider this your wake-up call.
