Black/white/gold splatter vinyl in standard cover.

Background information about 'In Sorte Diaboli'

Dimmu Borgir unleashes their symphonic black metal mastery with "In Sorte Diaboli", a conceptual opus that stands as one of their most ambitious and theatrically grandiose works. This isn't just another black metal album – it's a full-blown satanic opera that weaves together crushing orchestral arrangements with the band's signature blend of melodic brutality and atmospheric grandeur. The Norwegian legends craft a narrative-driven experience that follows the journey of a priest's fall from grace, delivered through some of the most sophisticated songwriting in their extensive catalog.

The album showcases Dimmu Borgir at their creative peak, balancing their symphonic tendencies with raw black metal aggression in ways that feel both epic and intimate. Tracks like "The Serpentine Offering" and "The Sacrilegious Scorn" demonstrate their ability to create memorable hooks without sacrificing the darkness that made them legends. The production is pristine yet maintains enough grit to honor their black metal roots, while the orchestral elements never overshadow the core metal foundation.
