Background information about 'III: Songs Of Happiness...Words Of Praise'
"III : Songs Of Happiness...Words Of Praise" marks another haunting chapter in (Dolch)'s dark sonic journey. This mini-album weaves together nearly 38 minutes of atmospheric doom and black metal that feels both deeply personal and universally unsettling. The opening tracks "Opening Speech" and "Intro Mit Pauken Und Trompeten" set a ceremonial tone before diving into the epic centerpiece "The River" - an 8-minute odyssey that showcases the project's ability to blend crushing heaviness with moments of eerie beauty.
What sets this release apart is its unpredictable nature. From the melancholic "Sirenade" to the provocatively titled "Hydroxytryptamin Baby (Part I)", (Dolch) refuses to be confined by genre boundaries. The album culminates with the marathon "100 000 Days" - an 18-minute exploration that pushes the limits of patience and endurance. The handcrafted presentation matches the music's artisanal approach, housed in a luxurious digisleeve that feels as substantial as the music within.
