Background information about 'Reflect to Rewind: A Rarities Collection'
Thirty years deep and still running on fumes of pure fuzz, Dozer have gone digging through their own vaults and come back with a double album's worth of treasure. "Reflect to Rewind: A Rarities Collection" gathers rare tracks, b-sides and singles from across the Swedish quartet's long, loud career, and the sheer quality on display here is almost rude. These aren't scraps swept off the studio floor — they're songs that could have anchored any of the band's proper records, which says everything about how deep this well runs.
Longtime collaborator Karl Daniel Lidén remastered the whole thing track by track, and you can hear the care in every groove. The riffs land heavier, the low end breathes, and the desert-baked swing that made Dozer one of Scandinavia's most beloved stoner rock institutions feels freshly wired. It's a reminder that this band never needed a gimmick — just volume, groove and a knack for a hook that sticks around long after the needle lifts.
