The album showcases the band's evolution from their early days in those grimy London rehearsal spaces where Jack Townley's bass first locked in with Sam Hart's thunderous drums.

"Habits" finds Elephant Tree at their most refined yet heaviest, blending their signature warm, syrupy fuzz tones with soaring vocal harmonies that'll send shivers down your spine. From the atmospheric intro "Wake.Repeat" through crushing anthems like "Sails" and "Faceless", this record demonstrates why these Englishmen have become such a force in the doom scene. The album flows seamlessly between crushing heaviness and moments of surprising beauty, with tracks like "Bird" and "The Fall Chorus" showcasing their incredible dynamic range.
