Limited Mediabook CD in slipcase with patch.

Background information about 'Vredesvävd'

Finnish folk metal masters Finntroll return with "Vredesvävd", a captivating journey through Nordic mythology and ancient folklore that showcases the band's signature blend of black metal ferocity and traditional folk melodies. The album opens with the atmospheric "Väktaren" before diving headfirst into the crushing intensity of "Att Döda Med En Sten", setting the tone for an epic adventure through mystical landscapes. Tracks like "Ormfolk" and "Vid Häxans Härd" demonstrate the band's masterful ability to weave haunting accordion melodies with blast beats and tremolo-picked guitars, creating a sound that's both brutally heavy and surprisingly danceable.

The album's second half maintains this perfect balance, with "Stjärnors Mjöd" serving as a particularly memorable highlight that combines Swedish lyrics with irresistible folk hooks. The closing "Ylaren" builds to an epic crescendo before the brief "Outro" brings the mystical journey to its conclusion. Throughout "Vredesvävd", Finntroll proves once again why they're considered pioneers of the folk metal genre, delivering an album that's both accessible to newcomers and satisfying for longtime fans of their unique brand of "trollish" metal.

For fans of: Korpiklaani, Ensiferum, Moonsorrow, Turisas and Eluveitie
