Background information about 'En Delirium'

When Grief Collector unleashed "En Delirium" in 2021, they delivered a crushing masterpiece that stands as one of the finest doom metal albums of the decade. This isn't just another heavy record – it's a profound journey through the darkest corridors of human emotion, wrapped in absolutely devastating riffs and haunting melodies. From the opening moments of "Corridors" to the final notes of "Scorned Heart", every track feels like a carefully crafted piece of sonic architecture.

What makes this album truly special is the incredible vocal performance by Robert Lowe (formerly of Solitude Aeturnus), whose powerful, mournful delivery perfectly complements the band's crushing instrumental foundation. The guitar work is nothing short of phenomenal – thick, heavy walls of sound that somehow manage to be both punishing and beautiful. Songs like "Knee Deep In Devils" and "Wintersick" showcase the band's ability to balance crushing heaviness with genuine emotional depth, creating moments that are both devastating and cathartic.

For fans of:
Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Crypt Sermon, While Heaven Wept, Pallbearer
