Black vinyl with insert, poster, sticker and download code.

Background information about 'Erste Beschwörung'

Hexenbrett's debut offering "Erste Beschwörung" emerges from the shadows like a malevolent spirit summoned through occult ritual. This German collective delivers a haunting blend of traditional doom metal with sinister black metal undertones, creating an atmosphere thick with supernatural dread. The album's four tracks weave together crushing riffs, eerie melodies, and ritualistic vocals that feel like incantations whispered in ancient tongues. Each song builds upon the last, creating a cohesive journey through dark mysticism and otherworldly horror.

The production perfectly captures the band's vision - raw enough to maintain that authentic underground feel, yet polished enough to let every haunting detail shine through. The interplay between heavy, droning passages and more dynamic sections keeps listeners entranced throughout the album's runtime. This is occult metal at its most genuine, avoiding cheap theatrics in favor of genuine atmosphere and songcraft that draws you deeper into its spell with each listen.

For fans of: Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Trouble and Electric Wizard
