Background information about 'Alive Under Satan'
Heretic delivers a devastating blow to the underground metal scene with "Alive Under Satan", a ferocious eight-track assault that channels pure satanic fury into crushing heavy metal anthems. This album stands as a testament to the band's unwavering commitment to darkness, featuring relentless tracks like "Berserker" and "Mr. Chainsaw" that showcase their ability to blend traditional heavy metal with blackened undertones. The production maintains that raw, unpolished edge that makes underground metal so compelling, while still allowing each instrument to cut through the mix with surgical precision.
The album's second half proves equally devastating, with "Forever Possessed" and "The Devil, My Saviour" demonstrating Heretic's mastery of both aggressive riffing and atmospheric darkness. At just over 18 minutes, this release doesn't waste a single second, delivering concentrated doses of blasphemous heavy metal that will leave listeners craving more. The band's songwriting approach focuses on memorable hooks wrapped in occult themes, creating an experience that's both accessible to traditional metalheads and satisfying for those seeking something more sinister.
