Inspired by a commissioned performance at the Roadburn Festival 2024 titled "Music for Gloaming: A Nocturne", this album emerges as a fully realized masterpiece. Its sonic journey fuses Quorthon's raw black metal spirit with the intricate minimalism akin to composers like Philip Glass and György Ligeti. Enriched by guest appearances from luminaries such as Saara Nevalainen and Yusaf Vicotnik Parvez (DHG/DØDHEIMSGARD), Hexvessel's audacious blend invites listeners to partake in an otherworldly nocturnal ritual.
