Originally conceived as a commissioned work for the Roadburn Festival 2024 under the title "Music for Gloaming: A Nocturne", this album emerges fully formed in recorded splendor. HEXVESSEL, founded by English artist Kvohst (Mat McNerney) after relocating to Finland in 2009, have consistently reflected his diverse musical background—from UK black metal outfit CODE to projects like BEASTMILK (later GRAVE PLEASURES).
