INFECTED RAIN · The Devil's Dozen [A5 DIGI] | DCD/DVD/BLURAY

A5 digipak double CD with DVD and Blu-ray.

Background information about 'The Devil's Dozen [A5 DIGI]'

There is a moment on "The Devil's Dozen" where Infected Rain stop being a band and become a force of nature. Recorded live in front of a crowd that clearly came to lose its mind, this is the Moldovan outfit captured at full flight — Lena Scissorhands prowling the stage like she owns every square inch of it, her voice flipping between a serrated scream and something disarmingly melodic within the same breath. The rhythm section locks in tight, and the guitars carve out riffs that hit like a gut punch one second and shimmer the next.

What makes this release such a treat is how it reframes the catalogue. Songs that felt claustrophobic on record suddenly breathe, stretched out and given room to sprawl. The band leans into the dynamics, letting the quiet passages actually get quiet before the floor drops out. It is the sound of a group that has toured these songs into the ground and knows exactly where every hairpin turn lives. And then there is the visual side — a full music video collection that turns the whole thing into a proper evening's entertainment, complete with the kind of between-song moments that make you feel like you were standing in the room.

Honestly, this is the kind of package that reminds you why physical media still matters. Two discs of live fury, a video document of the whole ride, all wrapped up with real care. Infected Rain have never sounded more alive, and this is the proof.
