From the very first bar of the opener, this German five-piece makes it abundantly clear that subtlety is not on the menu today. What we get instead is a colossal, groove-drenched slab of sludge-infused heaviness that stomps, swaggers, and steamrolls its way through ten tracks of pure, unadulterated riff worship.
The band operates in that glorious sweet spot where doom metal's crushing weight collides with stoner rock's irresistible swagger and just enough hardcore swagger to keep things dangerously volatile. The guitars are tuned low enough to rattle your fillings, the rhythm section swings like a wrecking ball, and the vocals — raw, caustic, and dripping with attitude — cut through the mix like broken glass. Tracks like "Here Comes The Plague" and "I Hate People" don't just invite the moshpit, they demand it. There's an almost tangible sense of catharsis running through this record, the kind that makes you want to crank the volume to irresponsible levels and let the low-end frequencies do their worst to your speakers.
