Background information about 'Àmor'
Klimt 1918 have delivered something absolutely breathtaking with "Àmor" – a record that pulses with raw sensuality and emotional depth like nothing they've done before. This isn't just another post-rock album; it's a full-blooded exploration of human desire, physical connection, and those restless feelings that consume us in the darkness. Born from the isolation of recent times, the Italian masters chose to create their most carnal and passionate work yet, turning silence into a symphony of longing.
The production here is nothing short of legendary – when Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Snow Patrol) and Frank Arkwright from Abbey Road Studios get involved, you know something special is brewing. Their combined genius has transformed "Àmor" into a sonic landscape that's both intimate and epic, where every guitar drone and cascading wall of sound serves the greater emotional narrative. From the hypnotic opener "Dream Core" to the climactic title track, this is Klimt 1918 at their most vulnerable and powerful.
