Background information about 'Den Klandestine Kjerne / Eons In Oblivion'
This split single brings together two of Norway's most compelling black metal forces in a devastating display of underground artistry. Koldbrann delivers "Den Klandestine Kjerne", an erratic and disquieting piece that was originally crafted during the "Ingen Skånsel" album sessions but saved for this special release. The track permeates your mental faculties with its unsound Norwegian black metal approach, pulling listeners into what songwriter Mannevond describes as "the mind's worm-ridden courtyard". It's a perfect example of why Koldbrann remains one of the most respected names in the Norwegian scene.
Tilintetgjort contributes "Eons In Oblivion", recorded at Evil Octopus Studio alongside their upcoming second album. This track serves as a tantalizing preview of their evolution since their outstanding 2023 debut. Sturt's creation dives deep into darkness, crafting something utterly evil that serves as the soundtrack to the obliteration of your inner self. The band's rare approach and innovative sound make them one of the most interesting Norwegian black metal acts in recent years, keeping the old underground split tradition vibrantly alive.
