Four years is a long time to sit with a band's silence, but Lacrimas Profundere have never been a band to rush things. In that stretch they played well over a hundred shows, tore through the biggest festivals in Europe and capped it all off with a support slot for their idols Paradise Lost in the autumn of 2025. That kind of experience seeps into a record, and "Lay Me Down O Silent Fear" carries it in every single note. Recorded by Kai Stahlenberg (Powerwolf, Crematory) and mastered by Rami Nykänen (Crownshift), this is the sound of a band that has absolutely nothing left to prove.
