Recorded by Kai Stahlenberg (Powerwolf, Crematory) and mastered by Rami Nykänen (Crownshift), this record refuses to pick a lane, and that's precisely the point. Gothic, heavy metal, brutal, cruel, modern, oldschool — the band simply can't be bothered to choose, because there's no reason to. What pours out of the speakers is the essence of four musicians who have lived through it all and come out the other side more confident than ever. The melodies ache and soar in the same breath, the riffs land like a fist, and the gloom is thick enough to swim in. This is the sound of a band at the absolute peak of its powers, doing exactly what it wants, exactly how it wants.
