"Jenseitsritt" isn't a reinvention — it's a refinement. The band still rides that glorious wave of gritty, no-frills rock'n'roll that sounds like it was recorded in a sweaty basement after three beers too many. The riffs hit harder, the melodies twist and turn in breathless fashion, and yet — paradoxically — the whole thing flows with a poetic, almost hypnotic ease.
