Following up their 2022 debut on Season of Mist, the band dives headfirst into a concept that feels like a fever dream: cave paintings meet telepathic surgeries, digeridoos clash with tech-thrash precision, and the whole thing is held together by drummer Andrea Feltrin's guttural growls and inhumanly tight rhythms. The lead single \u201cScalp Ceremony\u201d is a bloodthirsty beast that suddenly throws bongos into the mix — and somehow it works. Tracks like \u201cOracle\u2019s Rift\u201d and \u201cThe Moaning Hill\u201d twist through proggy tempo shifts and razor-sharp riffs that would make the old guard sweat. This isn't nostalgia.
