Background information about 'OMNI'
Moon Destroys are back, and they mean business. Featuring current and former members of Torche, Abrams, and Royal Thunder, this band has always had pedigree dripping from every riff — but on OMNI, they've locked in and focused their fire. Where previous album She Walks by Moonlight stretched out into sprawling psychedelic space rock territories, OMNI tightens the screws. This is a shimmering, hook-driven beast of a record that blends post-grunge grit, riff-doom weight, and driving psychedelia into compact, immediate songs that hit hard and leave a mark. There's no filler here — every track delivers the breadth of the band's genre-pushing abilities in quickfire fashion. The production is warm yet punchy, letting those bass-heavy grooves breathe while the guitars layer on the fuzz and melody. Vocal lines soar over the top like a beacon through the haze, giving the whole thing an anthemic quality that's rare in the heavier realms. This is a band that sounds hungry, energized, and ready to prove a point. And they do.
