Background information about 'OMNI'
Moon Destroys are back, and they're not messing around. Featuring current and former members of Torche, Abrams and Royal Thunder, this supergroup-adjacent outfit has crafted something truly special with OMNI. Where their previous album She Walks by Moonlight stretched out into sprawling, psychedelic soundscapes, OMNI tightens the screws. This is a record that goes straight for the throat — hook-driven, riff-heavy, and impossible to shake.
The band masterfully blends post-grunge grit with doom-laden heaviness and shimmering psychedelia. Tracks hit fast and hit hard, but there's a melodic undercurrent that keeps pulling you back in. The rhythm section locks into grooves that feel both massive and nimble, while the guitars weave between crushing riffs and ethereal leads. It's the sound of a band that knows exactly what they want to say and how to say it — no filler, no fat, just pure, focused energy. OMNI feels like a band fully realizing their potential, hungry and ready to take over. This is heavy music with brains, heart, and soul.
