Background information about 'End Of Days'
Okay You Win have struck gold with "End of Days", a thunderous debut that perfectly captures the raw energy and driving force that's been making waves across the UK underground scene. This four-piece outfit has crafted something genuinely special here – a sonic journey that weaves together the gritty authenticity of Seattle grunge with the sun-baked heaviness of California desert rock, all while maintaining that distinctly British edge that sets them apart from the pack.
The album showcases their remarkable ability to balance crushing riffs with soaring vocal melodies, creating moments of pure euphoria that'll have you reaching for the volume knob. From the opening track to the final fade-out, "End of Days" delivers relentless energy punctuated by those signature doomy breakdowns that have become their calling card. Recorded at The Nave studio in Leeds with producer Andy Hawkins, every track pulses with the kind of authentic rock spirit that feels increasingly rare in today's music landscape. This is heavy music with heart, combining the best elements of 90s alternative rock with classic British metal sensibilities.
