The metal underground is about to witness something truly explosive! PHANTOM CORPORATION and CATBREATH have joined forces for what might be the most devastating split release of 2026. After PHANTOM CORPORATION left a trail of destruction with their last album "Time And Tide" in late 2025, they're back with five tracks of pure crossover mayhem on their "Commando" EP.
CATBREATH brings equally ferocious energy with their "Die By The Claw" contribution, featuring four new songs plus a crushing cover of EXCITER's classic "Stand Up And Fight". Their mascot Fat Freddy prowls through darker territories on "Cross The Gate", diving deep into death metal waters, while tracks like "Play Dead", "Feline Fatality", and "Inner Peace" unleash pure crossover/thrash insanity. Both bands recorded at Soundlodge with Jörg Uken, and the chemistry between these German metal maniacs is absolutely electric. This isn't just a split - it's a full-scale assault on your eardrums that perfectly captures the raw energy and brotherhood of the underground scene.
