What hits me hardest is how effortlessly these guys navigate between breakneck speed and crushing mid-tempo grooves — there's a confidence here that only comes from decades of honing your craft. Antidote of Poison and Missile are pure adrenaline, while Underneath Millenia slows things down just enough to let the weight of the riffs really sink in. And can we talk about Black Hashish for a second? That track alone is worth the price of admission, a swirling, hypnotic beast that shows Sacrifice aren't afraid to stretch out and get a little weird when the moment calls for it. The rhythm section of Scott Watts and Gus Pynn is locked in tighter than ever, providing the perfect foundation for Urbinati and Joe Rico's twin-guitar devastation. This isn't nostalgia bait — this is a band in 2025 sounding as vital and dangerous as they ever have.
